Hi, all,
Thanks Wen, here I am now.
My readings contain two articles from two books. One is about Chinese environmental policy and its implementation. The other one is a theory of public participation. Besides, there are three diagrams to show the Chinese political institutions related to environmental policy.
I have read and learn more about Chinese environmental policy and U.S.'s this term and found there are many points which can be compared, but I am still not quite sure how to compare them. Can you give me any ideas? Anyting might come to your mind when you read the readings will be wonderful.
In addition, public participation in environmental management is what I am especially interested in. This issue actually is related to many aspects, like policy, process of its implementation, public awareness, cultural and so on. I am afraid that it's not possible to take all of them into consideration. I guess maybe I can combine "public participation" and "environmental policy" together. For example, how does the policy encourage/neglect publici participation? How does the public involvement impact the policy?
What do you think about it? Do you have any other ideas?
Have a nice reading:P
