Allann Bros and I broke up. But I'm over it.

1) TOPIC:

I am producing a show about coffee production for the mainstream American audience.

2) QUESTION:

How can I make a "new" and unique show about coffee production that is accessible to the general public?

(Of course, this is not the addressed question in the show... it's more like the question in my head. The question in the show is, "Where does coffee come from?")

3) CONCEPTUAL SIGNIFICANCE:

Current shows that address environmental issues tend to be geared towards the "intellectual" and "academic" population, and leave viewers feeling depressed, overwhelmed, and/or angry. I want to convey information about the production chain of coffee in a new, ACCESSIBLE way geared towards the general American public.

"Accessible" =

• Easy to understand
• Fun to watch
• Absence of blatant bias ("telling you what to think")
• Leaving viewers feeling informed and empowered

4) POTENTIAL PRACTICAL APPLICATION:

Mainstream American viewers may finally have a show that is entertaining and informs them of important issues at the same time (a show that they will actually watch!). With their gained knowledge, they may change their behavior and make more thoughtful purchasing decisions.
